Sterile cotton balls

When you have a cut or scrape on your skin, you must clean it as soon as possible. Cleaning your wound helps keep germs out, which prevents infections. One surefire method to clean your cut is with sterile cotton balls. Sterile cotton balls are special because the way they made them is making them cleaner. This means they don’t have germs on them that could complicate your cut or make you sick. 

So, using sterile cotton balls is extremely simple and easy to use. First, you have to wash your hands with soap and warm water. This ensures that your hands are clean before they come into contact with your cut. Once you wash your hands, the pack of the cotton balls can be opened. Pull out the number of cotton balls necessary to clean your cut. Now, apply the cotton ball very carefully onto your cut, to clean it. You can use more than one cotton ball if you see there is too much dirt or stuff in the cut to get it all out. You want to be gentle so you don’t cause yourself more pain. After cleaning the cut, you can use another sterile cotton ball to apply medication or ointment that will help it heal.
